The best breakfast gem of Back Bay. The restaurant is a retro 90s theme which is enjoyable on its own. With a large menu of phenomenal options, to include several vegetarian and vegan options, there's something for all. The service is top notch - it's not something that is typical in the restaurant industry anymore and I appreciate it so much! I had the breakfast burrito which was one of the best I've ever had. The homemade maple turmeric hot sauce was so tasty!

The best brunch spot in Boston hands-down! Because this is true, this restaurant is incredibly popular with wait times of up to 2 hours. Be sure to join the online wait list early if you plan on brunching here on the weekends. I've not had a single menu item here that I've disliked, so I recommend everything! The ambiance is also unique with themed rooms in the restaurant. They offer a cocktail and mimosa flight as well which is an absolute must.

We waited over an hour for a table and it was SO WORTH THE WAIT! This place was amazing! The food was outstanding! I ordered the huevos rancheros for brunch and the portion size was huge for me and yet I tried my hardest to finish every bite because it was just so good! Everyone at our table enjoyed what they ordered. We were so full by the end of our brunch but when our waiter recommended the cookie monster pancake for dessert we just couldnt say no. At first I thought it would be too decadent and not my type HOWEVER I was very wrong. The pancakes are not pictured because they were DEMOLISHED! These were the best pancakes I have ever had, we ate it up so quickly because it was the perfect amount of sweetest and ended our meal so well. I wish we lived in Boston just to go enjoy it again, will definitely have to come back when we visit again!

Thank goodness for the YELP WAITLIST. I placed us on the list way before we got there. We were able to do errands and such prior to arriving. We got notification to check in and we were seated right away. The lack of waiting definitely helped us enjoy. My bff loves toast and she was able to enjoy both. I ordered their chicken and waffles and man did I clean up the plate. As for usual, we had breakfast dessert without shared pancake plate. Definitely enjoyed our items.

This was a nice find for our first breakfast in Boston's Back Bay. Good job, Jamie W. We weren't deliberately looking for a healthy spot as we know terms like 'tasty' and 'vegan' are not necessarily compatible with each other. However, lobster rolls and clam chowder were inevitable choices in our near future, so why not balance those indulgences with something healthier? The place has a funky vintage vibe, and the menu was robust with appetizing options. Jamie ordered the $17 Sam's Garden Omelette, a three-egger with spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, marinated tomatoes, garlic, and goat cheese. Accompanied by home fries and wheat toast, it was a satisfying veggie selection, especially doused with their hot sauce (photo: https://yelp.to/d6BQdnUeIc). I was downright unrecognizable and had the $17.50 Vegan Scramble, a surprisingly savory tofu scramble with vegan sausage, vegan cheese, mushrooms, broccoli, and marinated tomatoes topped with an avocado cilantro sauce. Mine also came with home fries but with sourdough toast (photo: https://yelp.to/YYiUUiMLJA). The $6 Orange Juice was the ideal capper (photo: https://yelp.to/VW3Ny1ZKt7). FOOD - 4 stars...satisfying flavors in their veggie creations AMBIANCE - 4 stars...heavy on the faux-retro vibe but it worked SERVICE - 4 stars...busy but efficient TOTAL - 4 stars...tasty + vegan RELATED - Exploring Boston? This place is busy. And I found out, for a damn good reason. It's delicious. It was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad he mentioned it. It was a 17 minute walk from the hotel, so not super convenient but didn't mind the walk. The meal made up for it. There was a wait, but they have a downstairs bar area where I sat down and was greeted by Nicole. She wasn't from the south but she reminded me of someone from the south. Called me sweetie, darling, etc. Very endearing. She recommended the tater tots and the meat omelette. Can't remember the name of it but it's the meat lovers one. The tots came out pretty cold and they were comped. Which I'm grateful for. But I can't imagine how they were hot because lukewarm they were amazing. The pickled onions, the sauce they were in. All of it was amazing. The omelette was good but not anything to go crazy over. With exception of the maple sausage. Was good. The marble rye? Made in house? Stupid good. I would come back if I was in town. You should too, if you're nearby.
